In light of the Executive Order GA-34 issued by Governor Abbot March 2, 2021 effective March 10, 2021, we want to update our patients about Medical Clinic of Houston’s operating policies and our continued commitment to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our patients and staff while we continue to offer in-person patient visits.

Based on the guidance in the executive order regarding the use of Masks, the Texas Medical Board, the Texas Department of State Health Services, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations, MCH will continue to follow the safety measures as described in our website’s (click this link) COVID-19 Information page. This includes requiring masks to worn at all times while on our campus, performing screenings upon entering the Clinic, social distancing, extra disinfecting, and UV light sanitizing, among other precautions.

As Houston Methodist Hospital’s President and CEO Dr. Marc Boom stated “Even though it is not mandated, as a health care professional, I urge all Texans to keep wearing masks until enough of our community is vaccinated that we approach herd immunity. Because when we do the right thing, we can stop the spread together.”

We thank our patients, employees, and physicians for your continued cooperation in ensuring the safest and healthiest environment for all.
