Director of Nursing

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of 100+ nursing and secretarial staff
  • Recruiting
  • Employee training
  • Employee performance monitoring
  • Quality control
  • Work process improvement
  • Nursing Department fiscal management and compilation of budget
  • Oversight of medical risk management issues
  • Oversight of patient satisfaction
  • Participant in physician practice development program

 Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Texas with a bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of five years experience in clinical supervision
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Proven clinical managerial and leadership skills
  • Extensive experience in recruiting, employee training, and employee performance monitoring
  • Demonstrated success in workflow process improvement and developing and performing within an operating budget
  • Knowledge and comprehension of medical risk management issues
