Compliance Audit Nurse
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various compliance-related audits for documentation and reimbursement purposes
- Develop and present annual staff compliance training
- Monitor compliance throughout organization with Code of Conduct
- Educate physicians on documentation and coding requirements
- Research and communicate changing Medicare regulations and requirements
- Monitor MCH Compliance Policy
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Texas with a bachelor degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of two years experience in compliance audits
- CPC Certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of coding systems:
- Basic knowledge of and interest in Medicare billing rules and regulations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with members of the medical and administrative staff
